I agree!
This is a color class that generally doesn't do very well here.
VICTORIA FALLS is a spectacular performer, but nothing newer that I've
tried has been reliable. Donald sent one here to torture a couple of
years ago and it did well, so I've begged starts of some others to
trial, and if they do well, hope he will consider them for introduction
into the "vale". Or at least for gene sources in other southern
climates where the blues don't do very well.
Are the blues a difficult color class where you are Francelle?
<I love that bunch of blue irises, Donald. Particularly the dark blue
on the far right. If I had a seedling as tall, beautiful and healthy as
those, I would certainly consider registering and introducing it.
