Same here but sometimes it is so damnably wet that the pollen never dries out
and is  truly lost. I also make crosses in the afternoon.
 
Ellen (speaking of 'moisture' - most of New England had a dry Sept. but we 
didn't up here in the mountains and now the soil is so wet that I fear for the TBs
and the arilbreds)
