Linda,
The healthiest, most vigorous and floriferous brightly colored variegatas that I grow are two historics, RAJAH (K. Smith, 1942) and ACCENT (Buss, 1953). There are other good ones among the nearly dozen historic cultivars in this color class I have in my garden, among which GAY HEAD (Knowlton, 1954) is worthy of honorable mention, but the first two are the best, especially in vigor and stalk production.
I have never really found a modern variegata that matches these historics in the qualities you have specified, though I have long grown ALL THAT JAZZ (Denney, 1982) for its reliable performance, even if it is not truly outstanding. SUPREME SULTAN (Schreiners, 1988) is truly impressive where it grows well (which isn't here).
