Re: HYB: another blend (photo posted)

Thanks Neil - I'm answering here rather than photos. Will take time to
digest what you said, & can't do pigment extractions till spring. From
your comments, it sounds like you don't believe there is any pink
pigment showing in the photo. I should have a bunch of seedlings bloom
in the spring that will answer your question about pink in IMM, but in
the mean time:

MIDSUMMER'S EVE (Donald Spoon, R. 1997). BB 27" (69 cm) ML & RE.
"S. and style arms pink; F. peach pink, darker veining; beards
tangerine; lightly ruffled, flared. Immortality X Enchanted World.,
Winterberry 1999. "

MY ANGEL'S SMILE (Bob Thomason, R. 2000). Sdlg. BT 96-014B. TB 36"
(91 cm) ML. "White, pale pink overlay; style arms white; beards
white; slight sweet fragrance. Pink Song X Immortality., "

I'll ask the Spoons if they have time to tell me what kind of ratios
they are getting from IMM X pink.

<I'm glad to know that Immortality has at least TTtt makeup--or perhaps
I
should ask if you do have or know of a sure and certain lycopene-pink
among its progeny? This seedling is not, I think. It may well be Tttt
from the tone of the yellow involved.>
