Paul -if you are willing to send a blooming size rhizome now, I'd
love to try it. Save waiting another year to find out if it's tough
enough to do ok here. I've planted as late as mid November without ill
effect, especially freshly dug stuff. I can always cover it if it gets
really cold before it has time to settle in.
Cheapest method I've found for shipping a single rhizomes is padded
envelopes, first class mail. Costs a little over a dollar. As long as
it isn't Schreiner sweet potato sized. This time of year, no need for
air holes.
Be happy to pay for it, or would you rather have something in trade?
