Thanks to everyone who took the time to offer input on my question about the distinction(s) in appearance between ACCENT and FRANK ADAMS.
It seems that one should expect the standards of ACCENT to be a fairly clear shade of yellow, while those of FRANK ADAMS are definitely stained or tinted with anthocyanin to a tannish or buckskin shade. As I said in my earlier posts, to my eye there was no distinctive difference between what I am growing under the names of these two cultivars in the appearance of their blooms this year. Referring to photos of ACCENT in bloom from previous years, the standards do appear quite yellow, though they did not appear that way thisyear, since my FRANK ADAMS definitely exhibited the tinting that was mentioned in the standards, and yet ACCENT was indistinguishable from it. I shall have to study these two very closely when they bloom next year.
Again, thanks for your comments and observations!
