HYB: Dwarf Awards Prior to 1965

Greetings.
 
I'm finalizing on a little piece on the Grapes Sisters for Kelly  Norris, 
editor of the Dwarf Iris Society newsletter.
 
Will someone with a long memory please write to me at 
_ChatOWhitehall@aol.com_ (C*@aol.com)  and explain the  significance in the Dwarf 
Iris Club, later Society, of the "Award of Special  Merit", as awarded in 
1958, and the "Blue Ribbon Award", as was presented in  1963?
