HYB: experiments

So far, the chilling without shelling first experiment is a flop. Of
the pots taken out of the fridge after 2 months of chilling, nothing has
germinated. 2 months chilling isn't enough to get <much> germination
from most TB crosses here, but it should have been enough to at least
get one or two to sprout.

Combined with hardly any rebloom, this fall is a total bust so far.

Frost forecast for Friday night, but it doesn't look like a hard freeze,
so still a chance of some stalks showing up later.

Somebody remind me why I'm doing this?? <g>
