Preen is a PRE-emergent. I'm under no illusions about it's power to kill
anything that has already sprouted. In fact, there are some seeds that it does
not appear to kill or prevent from sprouting. A couple of weeks ago I was
concerned that a box of Preen had gone bad. Applied it per instructions,
watered it in, and stuff started coming up. Now that the weeds are getting a
little bigger, I'm seeing that the new sprouts are something Preen doesn't seem
to touch.
Thanks Char and Mike.
