Re: Foliage on small Iris

Linda asked about small Iris species , and keeping the foliage during summer.
Some of the small species loose their foliage during summer ex: I.Attica -I.Sauavelens I. Arenaria and some I.Pumila . All of the Junoiris are completely dormant during July - August. Then again some keep up a rather good growth during summer .
I have experienced some leave growing on the "dry" species if we have a rainy summer.
