This summer I acquired an arilbred (1/2-bred, I think) called TINY PIRATE
which grows 6" tall. It was bright green and healthy when I received it,
but after planting it shed its leaves and stayed completely dormant/bald
for 2.5 months. It just started breaking dormancy in the last few days.

None of my other "regular" MDB cultivars have ever gone dormant. But then
here in Cincinnati we regularly get rains throughout the summer, and when
we don't, I water them.
