Amy, I order a lot of irises each year from many growers and trade
with a lot of others but can recall only one time receiving a bonus of
something I already had. Maybe, I have been lucky. Guess the person who
sent the same bonus three years in a row is growing that iris just for
bonuses.

There was a thread earlier this year about the quality of bonus
extras, and Mike Lowe included a list of award winners that were
introduced as bonuses, which was an eye-opener. I hope what you got three
times was one of the quality bonuses.

I think there are several sources that look at your previous
orders so they won't duplicate. This is a lot to ask, but I feel some are
so careful and eager to please the customer, they will do the impossible
to avoid duplication.
