Welcome to the list Julia. You have found a great many just like yourself.
You are a truly lucky person. Not knowing just what piece of the Sierra
Nevadas you call home, I would bet that within a fairyly short drive you can
visit maybe 6 or 8 commercial iris gardens. Several of the owners of the
gardens are members of Iris Talk.
One thing for certain, you can never have too much dirt or too many irises.
