OT: Angel-Wing Begonia

Hi, everyone!

If any of you grow an angel-wing begonia, would you please email me
privately? I see from the latest Organic Gardening magazine that they
are supposed to bloom, and mine hasn't!

I got a piece from my sister in 12/96, so it is almost 2 years old. I
have it in a gallon pot outside in the shade of the house for the
summer, and it isn't growing through the holes yet, so it isn't
potbound. This summer it has grown many, many new leaves and has two
thick main stems but hasn't tried to bloom yet. Any ideas? Is it still
too young? Maybe I haven't fed it enough. Usually I just give it water,
which evidently is enough for lots of leaves but no blooms. It is the
kind with silver dots on a green leaf top and maroon on the undersides
of the leaves. Love it to pieces, but...
