When I rejoined iris-talk recently, I asked what the status of getting
the AIS checklists in digital form was. Two (three?) years ago, Howard
Hughes was working on it. When I didn't get a reply, I checked with
Howard and I have the impression from his reply that things have stalled
a bit? But John Jones tells me that while I was off-list, Mike Lowe
posted that he had all the parentages of all registered irises in a data
base that he was trying to get on-line.
Mike, if you have time, before I go out and buy a scanner and start
trying to do my own scanning of the 60s checklists to hunt for relatives
of WHOLE CLOTH, is there anything new to tell? And is there anything I
can do to help?
