Hi All,
I wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts
on the subject of rot in the TB's this year. I see now that there were far
more people encountering this problem than I had realized. Fortunately, my
irises are all in raised beds, which helps with drainage, and I have only
lost a total of three. Unfortunately, they were some that I had been
growing for many years. I have managed to save the rest that have been
afflicted by scraping and using either Comet or bleach.
I also want to thank Celia for posting her
article on this subject. It never hurts to reminded on what to do when
this happens. And trust me, I will check them every day from now on.
Thanks again.
