On possum defense: When playing dead, possums look very convincing unless
you turn them over with a stick. Then they promptly roll over the way they
were before, to fit their concept of "dead possum."
Another great Pogo saying: "We can see the light at the end of the tunnel,
and it is headed our way at a high rate of speed."
Oh, how we need another Walt Kelly and Pogo in the funnies in these dark days!
