First l would like to thank everyone for their welcome.
To Heather Pryor that mayor would have been Joe Fabbro and his wife Rose, Joe hired me as fire chief  in "75" from  Niagara Falls. Retired 8 years ago.
I seen on this list that for JI's  if you have a damp area and acidy soil, throw the iris in and stand back, l have such a spot, only it floods each spring, question; will the JI's survive. l have what l think are wild iris and they survive the flood each spring
