Dear Judy Eckhoff,
I potted all the named median iris rhizomes you sent and sent an equal
number to a friend.
You sent me the following irises: RHAGES, ROUSTABOUT, OKLAHOMA
BANDIT,BLUE POOLS, MRS. NATE RUDOLPH, GINGERBREAD MAN, LITTLE ANNIE, LITTLE
PAUL, FINGERPRINTS, GOLDEN MUFFIN, & PEACHY FACE.
You also sent some unnamed irises which I gave to my friend as I needed
the name to be happy with my planting. If you know some of the other names you
sent ,please let me know so I can tell my friend what to look forward to
seeing.
It is still warm here in Lexington, Kentucky so late in the season, so
finally I am able to plant the previously potted median irises you sent me. I
have planted 6 so far interspaced with tulips over planted with white pansies
with blue faces.Can't wait til Spring to see the results.

Where POLAR KING is still reblooming and BELVIE QUEEN has 2 more stalks yet
to bloom and QUEEN DOROTHY is sending up a late stalk which may or may not
make it before frost.
