Thanks for the welcome. Have great drainage in some places,
too good, in fact, but have some wonderful iris growing in what
is essentially hardpan! It get mucky in winter and impossible
to dig in summer. Best iris garden on the island in that spot!
Go figure? (My BEVERLY SILLS hates it there, though!)
Curious about why you wouldn't want to life here. It is often
described as Paradise by those who visit. Weather moderate
all year, seldom have snow, and you can't shovel rain! In our
case, we also live on 2/3 of an acre just 15 feet from a relatively
calm ocean bay.
