form? It sounds like this is a double that ocassionally doesn't quite get
there. If this bloom pattern is consistant, I'd say it's "normal" for this
iris. BTW what color is it?

Rodney, since STARLIGHT STARBRIGHT is from Marvin Granger, I guess this
one technically is a cartwheel and not a double, though he introduces both,
but SS varies from flower to flower and the secondary blooms had more petals
than the terminal which was cartwheel. It is a beautiful white with golden
yellow spear signals. I have a picture of it and eventually will get it
posted on my website when all of the outside chores are done, and I have
more time.
