RE: SPIDER BITES
From: "Patrick Orr" <PatrickJOrr@hotmail.com>
We have the brown recluse spiders out here in AZ too. The skin around the
bite keeps dying away. I had one bite me on the back once, and later on
while trying to scratch away the itch around the bite, the dead skin around
it dislodged and came clean away with my fingers - along with a lot of gross
liquid stuff.
Although I went to the doctor and got stuff to put on it, my neighbor told
me of a perfect remedy that worked for her. She said she took a fresh leaf
off of an aloe vera plant and smeared the jell from it on the wound. She
did this several times a day with part of a FRESH leaf each time (aloe
medicine apparently dies a few hours after being harvested), and the wound
healed without leaving a scar.
