Hi Chatters,
Here's a story only an iris nut can tell: I had a dream last night that
I had rebloom on Champagne Elegance, Best Bet, a unknown red and an
orange...(I dream in remarkable detail as you can see). WELL, I went out to
the beds this morning just to see if MAYBE it was an omen...ah ha! Rebloom
stalk and bud up on SUMMER GREEN SHADOWS, (G.Percy Brown, 1964) and should
bloom yellow to the green side. I'll post a picture when it comes out.
Other good news: when I checked the reblooming checklist (attn: Ken
Roberts), it has apparently never rebloomed in a zone 8 before, nor in SC!!
COOL, HUH?
