I grow both FANCY WOMAN and MIND READER here in the Buffalo burbs. When I
bought them, I knew I was taking a chance..... and since my luck is generally
worse than average - I figured this would be yet another sacrifice to the
great iris gods.
But.... I planted both of them in mainly full sun - in a raised bed and on a
steep slope. Drainage is excellent and I have been rewarded with wonderful
bloom.
Go figger!
I'm feeling so cocky, I bought SCARLET EMBERS again.
