I found the bulbs for I. reticulata and for I. danfordeae at my local
nursery here in Houston, TX.
I was wondering what type of soil and if they will do well in a container?
Also, what climate
are they most adapted to? I am here in hot/humid Houston, TX (zone 8b/9a)
and am wondering what types of irises (especially smaller miniature/dwarf)
will do well in this area. I
am aware that the most adapted to the Gulf Coast is the Louisiana irises but
those are
rather large. Can someone help me with these two species?
