I assume this is the iris you are referring to. It was introduced this year
by Brad Kasperek for the hybridizer, Don Nebeker.
SKYETOUCH (Nebeker, '99) TB 36" ML. Ruffled, brilliant clean white
standards float above brilliant white falls banded with a 1/4" veronica
violet halo fading to white at about 3/4". Style arms white, tinted violet.
Red-orange beards. 7 buds. Sdlg 994-3 (Classic Treasure x Planned Treasure)
X Delightsum.
I have been growing this one since before introduction and it is quite
attractive and has performed well. It is an updated version of the
so-called "Emma Cook" pattern and is more cleanly marked and has a brighter
beard than its parent, Delightsum.
