Allison and All:
We felt the quake all the way here in
Phoenix. Woke us up - felt like the house shook, was confirmed by the fish
tank water going back and forth as well as the ceiling fans swaying.
Weird!

Hi all, Weather is weird here today. Gusty winds and
heat. Maybe I'm just disoriented from the quake this am.
Everything seems surreal. My newly planted rhizomes are not growing
much with all this dry heat. Have not planted them all yet.
It's still too hot to get out and dig beds except for early am and right
before dark. Though it has begun to cool down at night, we are still
having temperatures between the high 80's and low 100s. My
son turns six tomorrow and is going to have a pool party. What month
is this again?
