Treated lumber and its safety or lack of safety is discussed in
conflicting reports found on a number of Web sites. Use the search term
<CCA-treated> to find relevant articles.

The following Web sites promote the safety of the pressure treated wood
prodcts:

"Is Wolmanized wood safe around people, plants, and pets? In laboratory
tests, in garden and vegetable studies, in investigations of playground
structures, in surveys of carpenters and treating plant workers, and in
other research conducted by various organizations, CCA-treated wood has
been shown to be harmless when used as recommended."
