Forgot this had a developing stalk and was delighted to be greeted by a
perfect, fragrant bloom open this morning when I went out to Roundup the
ragweed. Starting to get some drought stress, but a few other rebloomers
trying to send up stalks, including another stalk on SUMMER WHITEWINGS
and TEA LEAVES. Thanks again to Lloyd Zurbrigg for PERFUME COUNTER and
making me aware of the tough GP Brown rebloomers he used as ancestors.
Almost matched by my delight in finding ripening fruit of Passiflora
incarnata out amongst the ragweed. Been meaning to try to get a few
vines growing but never remember. These ragweed plants are getting
smart - no way I will spray that particular patch.
