RARE EDITION (Gatty, 1980) is an IB, not a TB. Registration information as
follows:
24" E-M. S. mulberry purple solid border, midrib and a few small speckles
on white ground; F. white with 1/8" stitched edge of standard color;
blue-white beard faintly tipped bronze.
RE won the Sass Medal (highest award for IB's) in 1986, and would be a
strong candidate for greatest IB of all times, if such an honor were
accorded.
