Since Dallas came to the rescue about the lumber - how about some info on
newpapers used as weed-preventers. Years ago I folded newspapers to fit
under weedcloth - maybe 2 sheets - Just recently someone, I forget who,
emailed her use of EIGHT sheets, which sounds even more efficient. When I
mentioned to someone that I was going to try that route, I was told that was
not a good idea to have all those chemicals disintegrating into my soil!!!
What about it??
I know it is not a good idea to use treated lumber for a fire in the
fireplace, or maybe in a campfire when outdoors, and you don't use seed
potatoes for cooking. What other hazards are there out there I don't know
about?? Think I'd better go back to bed and cuddle my ever-loving cat!
