Hi Linda,
     Never  tried FOREVER BLUE simply because I'm still trying SDB's as a 
whole.
I'm clearly going to have to treat them to an ice dump or two through our
"winter" because it's never sure if we'll have one that's more like a zone 7 
or a zone 8...(we really are on the border of both).    We did have a fair 
amount of freezing temps (that didn't last) and one surprising dump of snow 
(ditto for lasting) this past winter, but my SDB's were all too new and
don't think ready to bloom.
