The R&Is are available from the AIS

Rosalie, Keith Keppel expects you to have done your
homework before you submit a name for consideration in registering
an iris.
With the availability in hard copy of all the Check Lists, I would
think any serious hybridizer would have these and would check out
these references before submitting a name.
Now, we have the Iris Register, a work in progress online of all
of the checklists. Only the 1989 Check List has been completely
entered, but there is a separate listing for all iris names. The only
names missing are for those irises registered in 2000. Oh, yes,
there are some like RIVE GAUCHE that are in commerce, but still
not registered.
Iris Register requires a password, and John I. Jones can issue
you one.
