Forever Blue is an extreemly vigourous grower and crowds itself out in three
year and older clumps.I remember its maiden year with about 10 increases that
I divided out only to have four of the new plants promply put up bloomstalks
immediatly. It likes being divided regularly. I often get three generations in
one year. Right now its very hard to find a decent sized rhizome without a
flowerstalk so I'm sending out spent rhizomes with large increases on them.My
experience is that these new increases will frequently bloom before frost.
FB reblooms for Mike Sutton so it can handle the warm weather. Generally
rebloomers like to be moved often and most are vigorous growers. Some do
better in older clumps and some do better in newer plantings.
