I am a casual iris grower. Two years ago my elderly parents moved in with me and their iris moved into my yard. My parents have raised iris for years without any problems although gradually as they got older they reduced the numbers and varieties until they just had a few hardy varieties.
This year the foliage developed spots at the top as if something was eating them from the inside. Now the tops of the foliage are dying. Can anyone tell me what is wrong and whether there is anything I can do to save them? Or at least what I can read to get the information.
