My one and only cross which set seed is White Lightening x Red at Night. I
got ten very healthy seeds which I hope to plant this fall. I know little to
nothing about hybridizing and I've been out of touch on the net most of the
summer but I caught the name WHITE LIGHTENING. Did some one say its tender?
No morning sun? What kind of children does she throw?

Couple this with the story of WHITE LIGHTNING coming from a pod which

Betty, how does WL do for you? It got zapped here by a frost/freeze
years ago for being hyper-active in the early spring. My seedlings
from it were very tender, too. I think I have read warnings about it
from other sources, also. Its tenderness may be mentioned in our
archives.
I am not sure if I know many WL children.
