I need assistance on this one!! Was out cleaning up iris clumps in the
garden today and came across a proliferation on stalk of Alphaspu. I
have had proliferations on hems before and have been able to make them
reproduce into new plants but I'm not certain that the "prolif" from an
iris could be treated in the same fashion. Has anyone had this occur in
their garden???

I can't speak regarding spuria, but this has happened on arilbreds. Not
surprisingly, survival seems to be related to size and maturity of the
proliferation when "harvested" with the greatest success from those picked
just as the stalk is drying up.
