Hi, iris-talkers,
I still seem to be computer-impaired when it comes to this site.
When I answer a posting, it doesn't seem to post. And when I post a
search of my own on that site, it doesn't seem to show up either. So
from now on, I'll send everything under "Post."
I was answering the iris search for "Pink Sapphire." I bought it
this year from Aitken's, for $4.00. I have seen "Karen" before, from
Schreiner's among others, though it hasn't been in their catalog for
several years. Ask whether this still have a rhizome for sale?
Many have been answering my search for good parents in my hybridizing
campaign to breed pinks without that tangerine element in the beard.
One cultivar that keeps coming up is "Shirley M." Does anyone know
where I can get it? "Cocoa Pink" too.
