Nick: Ths standard concentration of household bleach (Clorox) is 5.25%
sodium hypochlorite. When diluted 1:10 the concentration then vecomes
0.525%. This is not a very strong solution but is strong enough to the
job for which it is designed.

This reminds me of my question. When people say 1:10 do they
mean 1:10 of the 5% that is normal around here for bleach? The stronger
stuff used for pools? Also isn't 1:10 pretty strong? I guess the idea
is to keep the soak times short.
