CAT: TB Wild Frontier

This falls into the believe-it-or-not category.

A van Bourgondien catalog arrived today. And there on page 4 was
Shreiner's WILD FRONTIER, which I ordered (by gift certificate) this
year for $30. And vB has it for $3.95!

How can Schreiner allow this to happen? Why would we ever need to
order from them again? I suspect S's rhizomes are larger, but so
what? Even if it takes 2 years for vB's to grow, you're way ahead
financially. And I have to wonder how S could have supplied enough
stock for another company to offer it.

Does anyone know of precedent for this sort of thing?
