HYB: more seed treatment experiments

I said I wasn't going to experiment again this year, but just stick
those suckers into the soil and let Mother Nature do her thing.

But of course I didn't. A few of the variations I'm trying:

1. Green seeds straight into the seedbed.

2. Tan seeds nicked and then burritoed immediately into the fridge.

3. Others (half 2, half 3) left to dry, then soaked 2 weeks in the
toilet, potted and into the fridge.

4. Tans nicked, potted and into the fridge.

5. Other tans nicked, soaked 2 weeks, then burritoed in damp paper
towel, stuck in plastic bag (loosely to avoid damping off) and set in
an open container in the veggie bin.

6. Some choice crosses dried, soaked, and burritoed a la Linda in the
fridge.

7. Some of the above will go out in pots in November. Others I'm
processing in November to be ready to go out (2 weeks soaking, 3
months chilling) in mid-Feb.

I'll let you know what -- if anything -- works. An interesting
variable is that my crummy little refrigerator alternately freezes
and thaws. I guess that will at least duplicate a normal winter.
