Re: RE:TB- Lowes and Walmart

I purchased 10 or so each of Prissy Miss, Dover Beach, Batik and Edith 
Wolford about 5 years ago. All were heavily discounted at the time of 
purchase. I posted a picture of what bloomed under Prissy Miss. The one 
packaged as Dover Beach bloomed as an IB or BB plicata. Edith Wolford was 
about the right color but I would be reluctant to redistribute as a true 
Edith Wolford. Batik bloomed correcty.

The caveat to prepackaged Lowes wildflowers is shelf life. I have on occasion 
seen the packages remain on the rack through the planting season until the 
next and even later. They are not dated that I can tell. So, one must examine 
carefully before purchase. Here returns require that you return the dead 
plant and the package and the receipt. I'd rather go dig my wild flowers plus 
sometime their shovels are less expensive than the flowers. <g>
