Afternoon all from a Sunny Spring Afternoon in New Zealand.
Here is the Data from the Iris shift we chatted about on Iris-l
on Saturday afternoon .
Yes I got all fired up and shifted 1/2 of each clump the next morning .
This is all your fault Dave , Gerry , Barb lol :)
Clumps 1-5 ph of 5.2 CF 11.7 temperature soil at 12 " 7.5 degree C
Clumps 6-7 ph of 7.2 CF 5.5 temperature soil at 12" 7.5 degree C
Clumps 8-9-10 ph of 9.25 CF 13.6 temperature soil at 12" 6.25 degree C
Clumps 11-12 ph of 4.25 CF 8.3 temperature soil at 12" 7.0 degree C
All are were growing in nice rich black loamy soil with a light covering of
bark mulch against the weeds.
All are now in Full sun and ph of 6.5 CF at 8
None will receive any water or wash from the Pool water or wastes in this
new spot .
Did some other Random soil tests while I was "wandering out there" at 8am
on Sunday morning --- just couldn't seem to sleep in --- wonder why ;)
Results were all with the above range and soil temperature ranged from
6 in heavily shaded area to 8.25 in (full morning sun
Will take comparison photos of blooms and bee pollinated pods (if any)
and height plus new increases. -- Plus anything else that is mentioned from
the list crew :)
