OT: R15 Fall Trek Info

After sending this out to many of the Region 15 people with email, I received delivery failures on several, including our illustrious RVP.  I know I got the email addresses correct, so I am not sure what is going on.  I am posting it here so hopefully many that did not get this email will see it.

Raffle Ticket Pre-Sale!!!

Hi everyone!
Due to time constraints during the one-day Fall Trek, I have been authorized by the R15 Fall Trek Committee to presale raffle tickets.  
Why wait? You can now get your tickets ahead of time!  

We have strived to find something for everyone to raffle off.  We are expecting about 35 newly introduced Tall Bearded irises, Spuria Irises, & Medians, along with iris prints, glassware, and a CASIO Label Maker (retails for over $100).
Make it easy on yourself!  Buy your tickets in advance.

Your tickets will be filled out for you with your name & address and mailed back to you. This way, during the trek you will not have to write all that information down on each ticket. We want to make it as easy for you as possible.     
So, how do you go about getting these tickets and how much are they?

As usual at these events, tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5.  If you were to buy $10 worth, you would get 12 tickets.  I would strongly urge everyone to pre-buy at least 24 tickets for the price of $20.  This will give you one chance at the majority of the items being raffled off.   

Here is what you do:
Send a check or money order (please do not send cash)
for any amount (made out to the Sonoran Desert Iris Society)
along with a Self-Addressed-Stamped-Envelope to:

No raffle ticket orders will be accepted past October 1, 2002.  The Sonoran Desert Iris Society and its members are not responsible for misdirected mail, so please make sure you address your envelopes clearly and legibly.  We look forward to seeing all of you at the Fall Trek!
