Re: HYB: Save & Storing Pollen

Margie,

I was told, and now follow, the guidelines that if you wish to save
pollen for a few weeks to daub on a later-bloomer, save it in the
refrigerator. If you want to save it until the next year, to
pollinate earlier bloomers, save in the freezer.

Both ways, I collect the pollen in a labeled plastic sandwich bag and
simply roll it and pop it in the fridge/freezer. To use, let it thaw
only enough to be fluffy and go to it.
