HYB: Save & Storing Pollen

I have "another" question. Would someone please explain to me how to gather, 
save and store pollen for future crosses?  And is there a special technique 
used to introduce the pollen to the seed parent using this stored pollen.
Finally raining here; 9 inches behind in rainfall.
