hi Michael,
My name is Margie Brown, I am a newbie from Long Island. To the best of my
knowledge there is no local iris society close to where i live. I am located
on the northshore eastern part of Long Island. The closest society in NY is
located in Poughkeepsie, about 135 miles from me. It would take me at least 3
1/2 hours to drive and that's not counting NYC traffic time. I was thinking
of taking the jet ski ferry from orient point to new london. However, i have
not figured out how to get to from New london to Meriden. I really want to
attend an iris meeting. i joined iris/talk a few months ago, in hopes of
becoming more knowledgable.
If i find a way to attend your meeting could i join your society?
