Hi everyone,
I made up the subject tag since there doesn't seem to be one for
announcements of meetings, sales, and other iris events other than
shows.
The Connecticut Iris Society will be having its first fall meeting
of 2002 this Saturday September 21st at 1:00pm at the Meriden Public
Library in Meriden, CT. Our guest speaker will be David Schmieder of
Concord MA. David will talk about his iris breeding efforts of both
bearded and beardless irises. We are also hoping for an update on
his efforts to breed PCNs hardy in New England.
