I have used pre-emergence rather religiously. I was able to get 3
large boxes of Preen at clearance when the local Southern States
closed and was sold.
The only weed I have problems with the spotted spurge.
The old adage "one year weeds seven years seeds" keeps me going. But
if its not weeds then something else will pop up to occupy the time.
It's like Gilda Rattner said "It's always something".
I was in the back and spotted one of the new iris looking sad. The
fan was mushy. I cleaned it back to solid fan and put some bacterial
soap on it. There is one small increase comng up.
