The summer was even hotter and drier than usual this year, which rather
discouraged rebloom, but I did get rebloom stalks on my most reliable
rebloomer, CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE (Niswonger, '87) that bloomed for a month in
July and August and has put out more rebloom since the middle of this
month. I also had the first ever rebloom here from CHILO (Nebeker, 2000) in
July and DARK WATERS (IB, Aitken, '92) in August. CHAMPAGNE JUNIOR (IB,
Aitken, '97) bloomed earlier this month, but that does not count as local
rebloom, as I only got the rhizome from Terry in July.
